According to Lithuanian law system below is given the list of documents that are needed for foreign legal persons who are willing to become the members/social partners of the association.

Abroad registered universities, willing to become members of association, should present following documents:

  1. Comprehensive excerpt from their country’s Legal Persons register which must have the information about the Head of the University (Rector?) and who makes and signs the decisions on behalf of the University.
  2. Copy of University’s Statutes confirmed by a notary.
  3. A notary must confirm the letter of attorney of a person who is going to represent University in the association.
  4. All documents must have Apostil given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or other respective and competent institution.

Foreign Ministries which are willing to become members of association /social partners should present following documents:

  1. According to the laws of the foreign country a decision of a competent institution allowing the Ministry to become a member/ social partner of the association.
  2. According to the laws of the foreign country and inner rules of the competent institution confirmed letter of attorney of a person who is going to represent Ministry in the association. This letter of attorney should be confirmed by a notary.
  3. Main document of the foreign ministry according to which Ministry prosecutes its functions entrusted to it by the State. This document should be confirmed by a notary.
  4. All documents must have Apostil given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or other respective and competent institution.
