19-21 of September 2018 the annual EPWS events the 12th EPWS General Assembly and the international conference “#wetooinscience -Sexual Harassment in Higher Education Institutions and Research Performing conference Organizations” were held in Pisa, Italy ( http://www.donnescienza.it/2018-wetooinscience/). BASNET Forumas president, Member of the Administrative Board of EPWS Doc Dr. Dalia Šatkovskienė participated in the event. During the General Assembly, the attention was made to the gender issues in the new Framework Programme Horizon Europe starting in 2021. The conference “#wetooinscience -Sexual Harassment in Higher Education Institutions and Research Performing Organizations” organized by EPWS together with Associazione Donne e Scienza (Association of Italian women scientists) aimed to discuss a sexual harassment in the scientific and academic community. The presented studies were dedicated to understanding and activation of mechanisms aimed at preventing harassment and, in general, violence existing unfortunately yet in research organizations and universities. The conference was attended by scientists from 11 European countries (Armenia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Italy, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, France, Germany, and Switzerland). The participants of the conference accepted Pisa Declaration on Sexual Harassment in Higher Education and Research. It was distributed among EU science policy makers
